Mark Phillips Fitness provides a number of different services for Nordic Walking, from free test sessions to full Nordic walk courses and private bookings. All equipment is provided by us and we make you a fully qualified Nordic walker over a structured course.

WHAT IS NORDIC WALKING


Nordic Walking is an enhancement of ordinary walking – however, it is twice more effective than the ordinary form of walking. Nordic Walking requires poles in order to add benefits to walking.

Nordic Walking is a specific fitness technique and is not to be confused with trekking, hill walking or trail running. Here, the poles are used in such a way by the walker/runner so that it increases the use of the upper body. It can be done by anybody, anywhere and does not require expensive equipment or clothing.
